Thank you so much for your time and work. Thank you also for not making us feel inferior for needing help. It is all appreciated. Thank you so much.

When I entered this program, I was homeless and depressed…

The QACCA (now named Haven Ministries) is helping me become the person

Through your generous gift of clothing combined with my additional resources for housing we were able to help this man learn to begin his life again…

Social Work Intern, Volunteer

I volunteer there every chance I can to give back and always show my love and respect, as they did to me.

Thrift Store Volunteer

When we volunteered at the Shelter, we were thoroughly informed about all the procedures and rules. Guests made us feel welcome and comfortable. And we were there to help them! We were reminded that homelessness could happen to any of us. I must admit, we were a little sad that all the guests went to bed early and the Mexican Train Dominos game had to end!

I hope to be able to continue volunteering for many years to come and look forward to the day when we can operate the shelter year round in a permanent facility.

Homeless Shelter & Thrift Store Volunteer

I felt humble and blessed to be able to serve those who really needed it. It is such an easy way to serve, yet so rewarding!

The beautiful work that Haven Ministries does, the zest with which their volunteers do what is asked of them, and the end result of helping so many people find hope in a bleak landscape, that is why I look so forward to helping this magnificent organization.
