Queen Anne's County is fortunate to have the support of generous business owners and organizations who contribute to our mission in various ways.
The gifts from our Business Partners, Event Sponsors and monthly donations from our Friends Program help to house 45+ men, women & children per month through our housing programs, distribute 20,000+ pounds of food to feed over 1200 household members per month and supply an average of $4,000 per month in emergency funds to those struggling. Gifts of Cash: The overwhelming majority of gifts to Haven Ministries are gifts through our secure online giving system using your MasterCard, Visa, or Discover card or check.
Pledges: Pledges allow you to consider a larger gift by spreading your commitment and payments out over a period of up to five years. Pledge installments can be set up as recurring credit card payments. Set up a Pledge today!
Securities: Gifts of appreciated securities can be particularly beneficial to both you and Haven Ministries. Securities held for more than one year may be tax-deductible for their fair market value on the day of the gift. Please contact the Business Development Office for more detailed information about donating securities.
Matching Gifts: Many corporations will match charitable contributions up to two times the value of the gift. Speak with someone in your Human Resources Office to see if your company participates in the matching gift program.
Charitable Gift Annuities: A charitable gift annuity is a contract between the charity and the donor that provides the charity with a significant gift of cash, securities, or other assets, for which the organization agrees to pay the donor a fixed amount over their lifetime.
