Our Daily Thread Thrift Store

Our Daily Thread Thrift Store provides deeply discounted prices on clothing and household items with proceeds benefiting Haven Ministries.  Our Daily Thread Thrift Store is a revenue source for Haven Ministries.  The profits from the sales help fund all of the Haven Ministries’ programs.  The Thrift Store also provides a place for clients to work and gain valuable job experience and community connections.

Donations:
Donations are welcomed and accepted during store hours only: gently used clothing, shoes, household goods, collectibles, toys, small appliances, and small furniture items. No baby equipment or electronics, please.

Making your donation: 

ITEMS WE NEED… in gently used condition include:

Clothing – women’s, men’s, shoes & accessories

• Household goods – china, kitchenware, small kitchen appliances

• Jewelry, small antiques, collectibles

• Bed linens, lamps

• Sporting Goods & related memorabilia

• Toys

• books, CD’s, DVD’s

Note: We can NOT accept tech electronics, medical or baby equipment

PACKING YOUR DONATION…

Our senior volunteers must be able to handle & sort donations. Please place items in:

• Medium sized boxes or nothing larger than 13 gallon white kitchen bags

DO NOT use large sized heavy Trash Bags

DROPPING OFF YOU DONATION… at our location

1521 Postal Road, Chester, MD

• Please drop at side door

• Hours: M – Sat 10 AM – 3:30 PM: closed Sundays

PLEASE DO NOT leave donations after hours

• Pick up your tax deductible donation receipt from the staff
